Abstract
Abstract: The behavior of Indonesian people who buy snacks, many bought by school children. Knowledge and attitude factors in a child’s behavior, can cause the behavior in buying snacks containing Rhodamin B. This study aims to determine the internal factors relating to the behavior of children grades 1-3 in buying snacks that contain dyes Rhodamin B in SDN Kotes 1. The design of this study is correlation, the independent variable is of this research are knowledge and attitudes, collection with questionnaires. While The dependent variable is child’s behavior in buying snacks that contain dyes Rhodamin B, collecting through observation. Analysis using the Chi-Squared method. Population of this research 48 students, chosed by total sampling. The results showed respondents who have good were knowledge 21 (44%), knowledge were poor 27 (56%), while respondents who have were supportive 20 (42%) and that act does not support, according to a statement not buy snacks that contain dyes Rhodamin B is 28 (58%). Chi Squared test internal factors with the child’s bahvior in buying snacks that contain dyes Rhodamin B showed a significant level of p= 0,000 α ≤ 0,05. There is relationship between internal factors with the behavior of children buy snacks that contain dyes Rhodamin B. The result of this study are expected to make students more cautious in buying snacks sold in school canteens, with the cooperation of parents and the school.
