Abstract
Abstract: Neurosis is an imbalance between the physical and spiritual that causes stress, which stessor suppressed in the subconscious, causing kecemasaan characterized by muscle tension, insomnia, lack of attention, trembling, disorders of the senses. Neurosa management can be done with PMR therapy (Progressive Muscle Relaxation) aimed to identify the influence of PMR to changes in the patient's anxiety in the Work Area neurosa Kepanjen Kidul. Design This study used an experimental quasy one group pre-post test design, with variable dependenya is the anxiety levels of patients and variables independenya is PMR. This study was conducted on 11 to 26 July 2015. 14 respondents obtained by using purposive sampling.Results of the study after the PMR therapy found decreased anxiety based on the analysis of test Wilcoxon signed rank test were obtained p = 0.001 means p <0.05 is no influence of Progressive Muscle Relaxation therapy techniques to the level of anxiety in neurosa, where it can be shown that there is a difference between before intervention and after intervention.
