A stressful pregnant mother were filled with feeling in giving birth and her responsibility as a mother. Besides, the fear of a giving abnormal delivery and die can cause a heavy stress. The purpose of this study was to identify the correlations of stress and an increased blood glucose of pregnant’s mother in third trimester. This research used correlation analytic design, the population consisted of 95 pregnant’s mother in third trimester at Bidan Praktek Swasta ”Widya Husada”. The sample consisted of 40 respondents which is choosed by purposive sampling. The method of this study was filled SCAL scale and blood glucose measured. Statistic data analysis was conducted by Spearman rank and Testing T. The result of this study showed that ”thitung 6,47 > ttabel 1,96”, so H1 was acceptable. It means there was a correlation between stress and the increase of blood glucose of a pregnant’s mother in third trimester. Findings suggested that a pregnant’s mother who has stress will increase the blood glucose that cause death baby, so a pregnant’s mother must be concern with her physical conditions.
